I have had the privilege to teach Level 1 at Scholeio for the last 2 years. It has been wonderful to interact and be impacted by young precious souls that are eager to learn. I am blessed to teach literature, grammar, spelling, history, art and science.

 

I believe it's important to teach through each of these subjects with the understanding that we are all created to bring God glory. I love to teach because I believe it is imperative for our children to grow up learning the truth.

My husband and I have been married for 21 years and we have 4 children, ages 16, 14, 12 and 9. We chose to pull our kids out of a private Christian school to homeschool over 7 years ago. And, while we struggled to adjust at first, Scholeio helped us to find the right balance. My children are thriving with great friendships and an excellent foundation to homeschool from. They are able to independently complete their schoolwork with the added encouragement of positive peer review. God created us to be in community and this is an excellent way to give my children that without sending them away for classroom instruction 40 hours a week.
