This will be my first year teaching with Scholeio. I am a seasoned teacher with many years experience teaching a variety of subjects. I have experience teaching a wide range of age groups and grades as well. I also have experience teaching special needs students and they hold a very special place in my heart. I hold a BS in Elementary Education from Lipscomb University and also a Biblical Studies and Music Degree from Victory Bible College in Tulsa, OK.

I have lived in Nashville for 22 years, I am originally from Connecticut. I have been married to
my husband Ben for 17 years and we have three wonderful children ages 15, 12 and 6. Ben
co-owns a private, small training studio in Nashville and is a personal trainer. Fitness and Health
are very important to us as a family. We have homeschooled our children for the last 8 years
and our children all attend Scholeio and absolutely love it!

When I am not teaching, homeschooling and doing the mom thing, you will find me taking care
of our two dogs, Radar and Sugar, exercising, and serving in my church. There’s nothing I enjoy
more than serving for the Lord and I get to do that in multiple ways everyday including as a
homeschool mom and teacher.

I am excited to teach at Scholeio this year on Mondays. I will teach two cooking classes as well
as a Lego Creative Writing class. What I love the most about teaching is watching my students
grow and flourish in who God has called them to be. I am blessed to be a part of that in the lives
of my own children as well as in the lives of my students.
