In 2019, as our family was entering a new season of life, the Lord placed on my heart the vision for a structured tutorial that would not only value academics but also a sense of community, all with a focus on the Lord. In 2020, along with my dear friend, Melissa Cameron, the Lord allowed that vision to come to fruition and Scholeio began it's first year! I've been humbled and blessed to be able to watch as the Lord has grown this program from 2 small classes to a full community of kindergarteners through high-schoolers. ​

 

In addition to my role as Director of Scholeio, I have the honor of also teaching some of my favorite subjects! I have a love for grammar, IEW, and literature and have the privilege to teach these subjects to our 3rd-8th graders. It is my hope to develop in our students an appreciation for the English language as they continue in their academic journeys.​

 

My husband, Brandon, and I have lived in Tennessee for over 30 years and have homeschooled our 3 children for 12 years. Next year, all 3 will be in high-school including a Senior who will be graduating in 2025!

 

While I have a degree in Women's Ministries, the Lord has been so good to me and given me the opportunity to follow my passion of teaching. In addition to teaching and directing Scholeio, I enjoy painting and you can often find me creating floral scripture artwork at my art table whenever I have free time!
