My classes with Scholeio this school year will be on Mondays teaching elementary classes. Our classes will be a review of reading, science, and art from Ms. Joetta’s classes. Monday classes will be hands on, exploring outside, and inside with crafts and songs. The joy of learning comes when academic strengths are realized. I hope to bring joy to our class time, helping students grow and mature into strong readers while giving room for creative outlets.

 

The joy of the LORD is my strength, is one of many of my favorite verses that I lean on to live
my life. I am a retired homeschool mom who enjoys teaching. I am thankful to be returning to
the Scholeio staff to strengthen little readers and bring joy through arts and crafts to understand
their world.

My family has lived in Middle TN since 2007. I am grateful to have been married for 27 years to
my God-fearing husband. We have a farm in Santa Fe, currently with chickens and more cows
on the way. We have 3 adult children whom I was privileged to raise and homeschool in this
community. I am still learning how to be a mother through this new season. They all graduated
from homeschool. We had to make choices for our children’s education that required
homeschool, public and private schools. I understand the prayers and painstaking choices
made to do what is best for your children’s education.
